MATTHEW CELEBUSKI JOINS SJLS AS SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR

Recognized Algorithmic Trading Expert Will Oversee New Quantitative Analytics Team

Matthew Levinson, Chairman and CEO of SJ Levinson & Sons, today announced that Matthew Celebuski has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director. 

Mr. Celebuski will oversee the development, operations, and client interface of the firm's newly-formed Quantitative Analytics group.

"With more than 20 years of experience building and managing complex analytical models for many of the top institutions in the world, Matt brings invaluable experience and expertise to our new Quantitative Analytics team," stated Mr. Levinson.  "We are extremely privileged to have him overseeing our new Quantitative Analytics platform," he concluded.

Prior to joining SJLS, Matt was senior managing director and product manager for Equity Analytics and Systematic Trading (EAST) at Bear Stearns.  Earlier, he held numerous senior positions, including managing director at JP Morgan, director at Merrill Lynch, global head of equity derivatives at Deutsche Bank AG, and head of structured products and OTC options at PaineWebber.  Matt began his career in the financial services in 1986 as an options and futures research analyst at Kidder Peabody & Co.  A board member of the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets (CISDM) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification, he is an editor for the Journal of Alternative Investments and a former editor of the Journal of Private Equity.  Matt holds a BS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
