WILLIAM HACKETT JOINS SJLS AS SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR

Brings 30+ Years of Trading Experience with Major Wall Street Firms

Matthew Levinson, Chairman and CEO of SJ Levinson & Sons, today announced that William (Billy) Hackett has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director and is a member of SJLS’s management committee.

"We're absolutely thrilled to have Billy joining the SJLS team," stated Mr. Levinson.  "A long-time colleague and friend of the Levinson family, Billy brings more than 30 years of experience to SJLS," stated Mr. Levinson.  "We are very fortunate to have his breadth and depth of sales and trading expertise supporting our growth and client service," he concluded.

Prior to joining SJLS, Billy was Senior Managing Director in charge of sales and trading at Leerink Swann & Co.  During his tenure, he held sole responsibility for building the firm's trading desk and establishing Leerink as a preeminent provider of healthcare research and trading.  Earlier, Billy held senior positions with ING/Furman Selz, Lehman Brothers, and First Boston.
